GuruBox is a place to find tips and advice and learn from videos in less than 1 minute. Learn from Gurus on a subject or find advisors with experience more relevant to you.
GuruBox is based on effective coaching principles, allowing you to learn in bitesize chunks and encourages people to teach by breaking down advice into manageable pieces.

Search for videos giving advice on business, sport and life: How to set up a business, how to parallel ski, how to half-volley in tennis, what shoes to wear for a wedding, how to tie a bowtie…how to poach an egg! Clear, quick advice that doesn’t get lost or ignored on YouTube.

HOW TO BECOME A GURU
Everybody starts as an Opinionator and the more your videos are watched the quicker you can move up a level to Advisor, Expert and eventually a Guru!
Not every Guru’s advice is right for you, Experts and Advisers sometimes share experience on the same topic which may be more relevant.
POST YOUR OWN VIDEOS
Why not record and post your own videos? Everybody has knowledge to share and experience to pass on. Perhaps you have just set up your own business and want to help others, you’ve read a book or watched a film that you could review in a minute, you have a recipe for a cake, or you are a sports coach wanting to help more people get better. Or maybe you’ve just found a better way of doing something than one of the Gurus!
There are just 2 rules* – people must learn something from your video and it must be no more than 1 minute.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEOS
Once you have registered and you are logged in it is simple to upload or link a video. Click on the “SUBMIT VIDEO” tab on the menu above and fire away. Make sure you put plenty of information about the video, appropriate tags and category to help people to search for it. You can also save your videos to YouTube and then link, rather than upload, which is quicker. Just make sure your videos are no more than 1 minute long or they will be cut.
